Warehouse Associate

Our client is HIRING Warehouse Associates in Ayer, MA. 

Temp to hire, long term positions with a growing manufacturing company. 

Rate:$21.00-$23.00 (depending on shift)

Schedule: 

1st Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm

2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am

Position is responsible for all basic warehouse functions including order picking, wrapping/staging trailers and loading and unloading materials on the trailers. Position requires 75-80% time in negative 15-degree freezer environment. 

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

• Pick Production materials and place product into proper required locations.
• Process inbound and outbound trailers.
• Receive inbound purchase orders 
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse including, sweeping, and emptying trash barrels.
• Understand all safety rules and procedures and follow them at all times. 

Job Requirements:

• 2-3yrs of Warehouse experience strongly recommended.
• Ability to drive and operate the company’ box truck when needed.
• Experience with operating material handling equipment, including stand up reach trucks and electric pallet jacks. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment effectively. 
• Bar Coding experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (Effectively understand and communicate in English).
• Ability to perform work functions in negative 15-degree environment.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floor for prolonged periods.
• Frequent bending, lifting and twisting for extended periods.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Drug screen and background screening required
