Senior Staffing Specialist
Job Description
Expert Staffing is seeking dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Recruiter to join our Lawrence, MA branch.
The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume staffing, a strong understanding of manufacturing environments, and a passion for connecting skilled workers with great job opportunities. You will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding and client relationship management.
Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Senior Recruiter Essential Functions:
- Partner with clients to understand their workforce needs and provide customized staffing solutions
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for light industrial and skilled manufacturing roles
- Proactively source candidates through resume databases, job fairs, networking, and referrals
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to evaluate skills, work history, and cultural fit
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for both short-term and long-term assignments
- Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely placements to meet client demands
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Conduct orientations and onboarding for new hires, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Assist with payroll processing, timesheet collection (Bullhorn / TimeTrak time clock systems)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of high-volume staffing experience, specifically within the staffing industry required.
- MUST be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proven success in full cycle recruiting across a variety of roles and industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering results
- Prior experience in client-facing roles or account management within the staffing sector.
- Familiarity with recruitment marketing tools and social media sourcing strategies.
