Quality Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Technician in Somerville, MA!

Schedule: Day Shift

Starting Rate: $22.00-$26.00/Hr (DOE)

Quality Technician Job Summary: As a Quality Technician at Expert Staffing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products meets our clients' standards.

Job Duties:

• Inspect and test products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and prevent defective products from reaching customers
• Perform part inspections on the production floor based on a detailed drawing
• Maintain Calibration program
• First Piece and in-process inspections
• Issue Certificates of Compliance for finished goods
• Organize reports, files, and results in a professional proficient manner.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with Quality System requirements, work instructions and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Requirements:

• 1yr+ Quality Technician/Quality Assurance experience
• Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
• Ability to read and work from detailed part drawings.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of measuring devices used to ensure product quality.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
