Production Training Coordinator

Our client located in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a qualified Production Trainer to support their Food Production Facility.

Starting Rate: $25.00/Hr

Schedule: 10 hour shifts (4 days a week)

Job Summary: The Production Trainer will support training, certifying new employees, developing training matrices and being a training advocate for new hires, existing employees, and their development.

Production Trainer Job Duties:

• Assist with implementation, and validating training programs
• Coordinate, schedule and track all safety related training requirements to include, but not limited to; first aid, fall protection, Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT), Lock out tag out (LOTO), Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW), Bloodborne pathogen, Annual Alchemy training plan
• Assist with transitioning competency evaluations to electronic format
• Maintain training matrix for all positions and their responsibilities.
• Facilitate formal training for line leads.
• Facilitate on the job training of team leads/back up team leads.
• Facilitates Hands on training of all key positions
• Tracks certification of all new operators
• Conduct training in a classroom setting to include new hires and yearly re-certification.
• Maintain training records for all employees
• Review training files for completeness
• Verify training validation methods for all required training, and coordinate all testing necessary for training and certification

Production Trainer Skills & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic mathematical ability
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Bilingual Preferred
• Experience in quality assurance, food handling or food processing, and knowledge of food sanitation requirements are (preferred)
• Must work in -4° to 85° Fahrenheit for short duration
• Must be available for overtime as needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word)
• Must have flexibility in working schedule
