Powder Coater

Our client located in Wilbraham, Ma is seeking a Powder Coater to join their team!

Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm

Rate: $16.00/Hr

Job Summary: As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Job Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
• Apply powder coatings using airless paint spraying equipment
• Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all coated surfaces
• Monitor and adjust coating equipment to maintain quality standards
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary touch-ups or rework as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with other duties as assigned, such as assembly or fabrication

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in powder coating or related field preferred
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate coating thickness
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting coating equipment issues
• Experience with construction painting techniques is beneficial
