Job Description
Our client is seeking a well rounded Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Torrington,CT.
Rate: Dependent on experience
Manufacturing Technicians will prep, and paint parts, assist with facilities maintenance, and will also be a backup welder.
Painter/Back up Welder Essential Duties:
- Paint Prep
- Loading/unloading material via overhead crane or forklift.
- Painting (in a booth with HVLP spray guns)
- Cleaning of spray equipment and general maintenance
- Welding (backup to primary welder)
Skills & Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in the trade, specifically spraying with HVLP guns and MIG welding.
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to produce quality work while maintaining a high level of production.
