Mold Technician

Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mold Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functionality of production machinery, troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Available Shifts: 2nd & 3rd
Starting Rate: DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor molding machinery to ensure proper functionality and quality output
- Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment and related machinery, including grinders and auxiliary equipment
- Interpret OEM schematics to return machines to operational condition
- Make necessary machine adjustments and minor maintenance repairs
- Monitor and analyze results to ensure production meets company standards
- Maintain proper documentation of work orders and equipment issues
- Enforce and uphold company safety and quality standards
- Assist with programming and debugging specialized equipment such as robotics and molding systems
- Provide support to production teams and assume supervisory responsibilities when required
Qualifications:
- Experience with plastics machinery and support equipment required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and work from schematics and technical documents
- Familiarity with robotic systems and molding machine programming is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a clean manufacturing environment with some exposure to warehouse conditions
- High noise levels and use of robotic and material handling equipment
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting required
