Our client is HIRING Material Handlers, Packers & Machine Operators in New Haven, CT! These are temp to hire positions that will offer long-term growth and stability

Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Rates: $16.00-$20.00/Hr

 

Job Duties:

  • Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately
  • Inspecting packages
  • Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
  • Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information
  • Review incoming/outgoing products for damage
  • Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards
  • Operate forklifts to move products within the warehouse
  • Wrap/unwrap pallets
  • Label products before inspecting and preparing for shipping
  • Prepare machines to start a production cycle performing calibration cleaning and other activities.
  • Monitor and properly adjust machine settings.
  • Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. Check parts with precision using appropriate measuring tools.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Warehouse/Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis
