Material Handler

Our client is seeking experienced Material Handlers to join their team in Wilmington, MA. These roles support the day to day operations of a Food Manufacturing Facility.

Schedule: 11:30am-8:00pm

Starting Rate: $18.00/Hr.

Material Handler Job Summary:

Responsible for managing, organizing, and transporting raw materials, ingredients, and finished products within a food manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring that materials are available for production, stored properly, and moved efficiently throughout the production process.

Material Handler Job Duties

• Operate various equipment including cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize RF scanners for accurate tracking of inventory and order picking processes.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in materials handling.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.

Material Handler Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous Warehouse/Material Handling Experience required
• Must have steel toe/composite shoes
• Must have experience with scan guns/PF scanner
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced temperature controlled environment
