Our client, a leading Manufacturer located in Southbridge, MA is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team!
Schedule: 6:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Thursday)
Starting rate: $19.00/Hr.
Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining quality processes, conducting inspections, and supporting production teams to ensure compliance with both customer and internal quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections.
- Select and inspect samples per quality standards; document all results.
- Inspect raw materials upon receipt and ensure proper storage and usage.
- Identify and communicate deviations, drawing issues, and equipment needs to the Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and sample retention.
- Utilize inspection tools (surface plate, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Operate computerized equipment for reports and data tracking.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO Class 8 clean room procedures preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Adobe, EZ Label.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with physical demands (standing, sitting, minor lifting).
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and materials.
- Tasks involve repetitive motion, visual inspections, and some physical labor.
- Team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
