Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to join our client’s team in the Greater New Haven, CT area!

Schedules: 1st & 2nd shifts

  • 6:00am-2:30pm
  • 6:00pm-2:00am

Starting Rate: $25.00+

Job Summary: Perform detailed inspections using a wide range of precision tools and equipment to ensure all parts meet the required specifications and tolerances.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first piece and final inspections on mechanical components
  • Use standard inspection equipment including tool scopes, shadowgraphs, and CMMs
  • Read and interpret blueprints with a strong understanding of GD&T
  • Document and report inspection results accurately
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues

Quality Inspector Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience required
  • Proficient in using a variety of inspection tools and machines
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
