We are currently seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to join our client’s team in the Greater New Haven, CT area!
Schedules: 1st & 2nd shifts
- 6:00am-2:30pm
- 6:00pm-2:00am
Starting Rate: $25.00+
Job Summary: Perform detailed inspections using a wide range of precision tools and equipment to ensure all parts meet the required specifications and tolerances.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Conduct first piece and final inspections on mechanical components
- Use standard inspection equipment including tool scopes, shadowgraphs, and CMMs
- Read and interpret blueprints with a strong understanding of GD&T
- Document and report inspection results accurately
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience required
- Proficient in using a variety of inspection tools and machines
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
