Maintenance Technician

Expert Staffing is HIRING Maintenance Technician in MA area!

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.

Rate: DOE

Job Duties:

· Coordinate with engineering to ensure preventative & planned maintenance program requirements are on going and being completed.

· Work with manufacturing and engineering to establish process improvements

· Recommend changes and equipment that will improve operations safety and production

· Coordinate with all departments to bring about safer operations and improve quality

· Write requests for parts and service either in e-mail or PO requisitions form

· Serve on an on-call (off shift) basis to service and keep production machines and related equipment operational

Requirements:

· Minimum 5+ years experience in maintenance, i.e. chain, gear, fluid & belt drive trains

· Fork lift, crane and hoist experience

· Operation of machine shop equipment to make parts

· Reliable self-starter who is flexible and adaptable with good listening and organizational skills

· Able to lift, climb, work in tight areas

· Lathe, welding, power tool, hand tools

· Solid mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge

· Safe working practices and use of safety equipment

· Knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Self-motivated to seek out necessary training & development to become more knowledgeable with
