Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Dracut, MA.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using logic controllers and schematics.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist with facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Qualifications:

- 3-5yrs Maintenance Mechanic Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using logic controllers for diagnostics and programming.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, etc.
