Machine Operators

Local manufacturer in Worcester, MA is seeking Machine Operators who are looking for a new career! Leading manufacturer which produces industrial cables that will offers years of growth and stability!

Starting Hourly Rate: $18.00-$19.00/Hr

Schedule:

• Training Shift will be Monday-Friday 5:00am-5:00pm between 4 to 8 weeks of paid training depending on what area they will be working in.
• Once training is complete associates will move to the night shift which is Monday-Friday 5:00pm-5:00am

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Correct loading & unloading of drums at pay-off and take-up
• Selecting appropriate tooling in accordance with assigned work
• Correct operation of computer controlled machinery
• Monitor machine whilst in operation
• Report any machinery faults or issues to Production Supervisor
• Reporting of any product non-conformances to Production Supervisor or Quality Team

Machine Operator Skills & Requirements:

• Previous Machine Operating Experience
• Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have exceptional attention to detail with an ability to multitask under pressure
• Be proactive with willingness to learn
• Forklift license and experience
• Team player
