Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in logistics, vendor communication, and negotiation, particularly in international shipping.

Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Starting Salary: $75,000-$80,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with vendors to negotiate the best rates, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to streamline operations.
• Manage international exports, specifically to Canada and Mexico, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely delivery. Experience with either of these countries is preferred, and we are willing to provide training for the other.
• Oversee shipments of fresh and frozen products, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive goods and adherence to refrigeration standards.
• Manage logistics operations with products requiring specific shelf-life controls and ensure they meet the necessary regulatory requirements.
• Use the ERP system to monitor inventory, orders, and shipments. Experience with ERP systems is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working in logistics, particularly with vendor communication and negotiation to secure competitive rates.
• Knowledge of exporting goods to Canada and Mexico (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with temperature-controlled logistics or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems is required.
• Experience with ERP systems and shipping fresh or frozen products is a plus.
