Job Description
Our client is seeking qualified Lead Operators to join their team in Millbury, MA.
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday)
The Lead Operators are responsible for working on a variety of equipment as well as overseeing production line processes and workers.
Lead Operator Job Duties:
- Startup, operation, clean up and shut down of a variety of equipment
- Assigns tasks to other crew members to ensure timely completion of production runs.
- Uses ERP system as needed to verify settings and correct input materials are being utilized to produce material within specification.
- Operates hoist, fork truck, pallet jack and maintains daily inspections.
- Set ups and monitors materials during runs.
- Stages material through barcoding and maintains accurate inventories.
- Packages and labels materials per documentation requirements.
Skills and Requirements:
- 2+ years machine operator experience in a manufacturing production environment.
- Experience working with computers and ERP system to input and access data
- Math skills including accuracy in basic functions such as multiplication and division and in working with conversion factors.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Moving, bending, pushing and lifting capability up to 60 lbs
- Ability to pass Background check and drug screen
