Inspector

Our client located in Worcester, MA is seeking a qualified Inspector to join their production team.

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm

Starting Rate: $17.00/Hr.

Inspector Job Summary:

The Inspector works alongside the production team to inspect material for storage or shipment.

Inspector Job Duties:

• Conduct visual and mechanical inspection ensuring adherence to specifications and conformance to company standards
• Maintain inspection logs
• Marks defects, removes rejects, and reports conditions
• Escalate any quality issues to the production supervisor as needed
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
• Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1yr+ experience working in a production role preferred
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Dexterity to test and pack small components required
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of company quality specification.
• Ability to operate proper tooling and equipment to test and inspect materials
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
