Distribution company in Westfield, MA is HIRING General Laborers! These are long term temp to hire positions.
**Ability to work in all weather conditions extreme heat and cold, both indoors and outdoors**
Hourly Rate: $17.00/HR
Schedule:
- Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm
General Laborer Key Responsibilities:
- Yard Maintenance: Working outdoors to keep our 50-acre yard clean and clear for forklift operators moving materials like lumber and plastic wrapping.
- Tarping Loads: Safely cover outdoor materials being shipped out on flatbed trucks. Requires lifting between 40-70 pounds, repetitive bending, and standing on your feet all day.
- Maintain safety standards and adhere to all company policies.
General Laborer Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme heat and cold, both indoors and outdoors).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow company guidelines – No cell phone use while on the job.
- Must be able to wear and adhere to PPE (hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses provided).
