Our client is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join their team on all shifts in Wallingford, CT!
Schedules: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts available
Starting Rate: $20.00+
Forklift Operator Essential Duties:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials or products
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper documentation
- Perform routine equipment checks and report issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for order picking and inventory management.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
