Forklift Operator

Our client is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join their team on all shifts in Wallingford, CT!

Schedules: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts available

Starting Rate: $20.00+

Forklift Operator Essential Duties:

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials or products
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper documentation
• Perform routine equipment checks and report issues
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
• A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
