Extrusion Operator

We are seeking skilled Extrusion Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products.

Schedules:

• A Shift: Sunday- Tuesday 6:00am-6:00pm & Wednesday 6:00am-12:00pm $17.00/Hr.
• D Shift: Wednesday 12:00am-6:00am & Thursday-Sunday 6:00pm-6:00am $19.00/Hr.

Extrusion Operator Duties

• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment to produce materials according to specifications.
• Load and change raw materials
• Order all materials necessary to manufacture and package product
• Set up machinery and adjust parameters as needed for optimal production output.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Cover other departments as necessary

Extrusion Operator Skills & Requirements:

• 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform work efficiently and effectively under short notice.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes.
• Must be capable of standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be capable of pulling and pushing a loaded cart with up to 50 pounds of force.
• Must be able to climb on ladders or other authorized equipment for cleaning
• Must be willing to work off-shifts, overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
