Local Food Manufacturing company is seeking 2nd Shift Blender/Mixer Machine Operators to join their team in Chelsea, MA.

Schedule: 2nd Shift (1:00pm start)

Starting Rate: $18.00/Hr

Summary:
Blender/Mixer Machine Operators will be responsible for blending all raw food material and ensuring the efficient operation of production processes.

Duties:

  • Monitors raw materials for any deviations from the norm
  • Checks all food and ingredients against written formulas
  • Identifies all product ingredients labels
  • Verifies product weight and types
  • Assembles and starts blender and/or grinder equipment and observes operation
  • Stops production line as needed, seeking immediate assistance to correct problems
  • Maintain and comply with all HAACP, OSHA, USDA, SSOP, and GMP requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous Food Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in cold environment
