Assembler/Machine Operator

Expert Staffing is looking to hire experienced Plastic Machine Operators in Clinton! In partnership with Phillips-Medisize, we are seeking qualified operators that are looking for continued growth.

8 & 12 HR shifts available!

Plastic Assembler/Operator Objective:

Produce products to meet customer specifications by operating injection molding machines, automation cells, and performing manual assembly production, performing `pre' and 'post' molding operations and in process product quality inspections, and conducting final inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual, in-process and final inspection of parts per quality criteria; check for contamination
• Navigate files and locate documents with a computer
• Access, read, comprehend and follow operator's guide and work instructions
• Trim and package parts according to customer standards
• Communicate status of jobs to previous and following shifts and share information with Mold Techs about problems or process variations

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Demonstrate basic computer skills
• Basic math skills; including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Must be team oriented and self-directing
• Must have a strong commitment to quality, safety and communication
• Must have knowledge of the impact of the work on the environment
