Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified Accounting and HR Specialist to join their team.
Hourly Rate: $25.00-$29.00/Hr
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Summary: The Accounting and HR Specialist is responsible for accurately processing payments, managing billing and invoicing, reconciling financial transactions and various HR duties. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining the quality and accuracy of financial records, ensuring that all customer accounts and vendor payments are up-to-date and accurately reflected in the accounting system.
Accounting and HR Specialist Job Duties:
- Generate and manage all customer invoices and billing processes.
- Oversee credit card payments, update payment information, and ensure timely deposit and application of check payments to customer accounts.
- Reconcile and process accounts payable invoices, review purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy, and prepare vendor check and ACH payments.
- Actively engage with customers to facilitate timely payments and manage the collections process.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources, and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in general math, with a strong understanding of debits and credits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of issues and develop lasting solutions.
- Advanced computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the Internet. Ability to learn new software applications and work with formula-driven spreadsheets.
- Ability to manage multiple interlinked tasks effectively, balancing priorities and deadlines.
