Our client located in Sturbridge, MA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd shift Quality Auditor to join their team!

Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:00am (Monday-Friday)

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday-Friday

Starting Rate: Depending on experience

Job Summary: The Quality Auditor is responsible for performing a variety of quality audits throughout the manufacturing process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that manufacturing processes adhere to established standards and specifications, utilizing a range of measurement tools and visual standards.

Quality Auditor Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 1st piece, in-process, SPC and final audit inspections at various steps throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review and interpret specification drawings and visual standards to verify product compliance.
  • Use a variety of measurement tools to inspect materials and products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Identify nonconforming materials and place them on “hold” for review by the Material Review Board
  • Notify supervisors of any manufacturing processes that do not meet required standards or vary from approved processes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to make decisions regarding scrap or rework of nonconforming materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and nonconformities.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory quality standards.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.

Quality Auditor Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of Quality experience
  • Previous experience within medical manufacturing preferred
  • Strong understanding of specification drawings and quality standards.
  • Proficiency with a variety of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Familiarity with regulations, including ISO 13485
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
