2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Expert Staffing is hiring TOP TALENT in Sutton MA. Our client is seeking qualified 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join their team.

These are temp to hire positions with growing a growing manufacturing facility.

Monday-Friday  1:00pm - 9:30pm

Pay Rate: Depending on experience

Operator Job Duties:

• Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, location of the feed line, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Completes assigned tasks using specified machinery and equipment in allotted time
• Meets KPI goals as defined by Management.
• Oversees materials to minimize scrap and waste.
• Processes scrap material for recycling.
• Provides general machine maintenance when required. Completes tool change overs when required.
• Oversees and ensures quality by weighing, checking & monitoring product before it cures and after.
• Monitor equipment during the production process to ensure optimal performance and identify any issues (e.g., unusual noises, irregularities, etc.)
• Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure product specifications are met.
• Continuously monitor product quality, including checking for defects or inconsistencies, and make adjustments to the process when necessary.

Operator Skills & Requirements:

• 1-3 years manufacturing experience is required
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Attention to detail
• Ability to pass background & drug screen
