Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and instruments.
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Openings
Starting Rate: $20.00/Hr
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining procedures
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Perform quality control checks using micrometers and other precision measuring instruments
- Aids in overseeing day to day activities and performance of machine operators
- Assists in training new operators
- Sets up machines (existing and new programs)
- Designs and makes machine fixtures
- Interprets customer drawings and makes decisions on how to efficiently machine product
- Occasional machine repair
- Troubleshoots machining problems
- Assesses quality and machine repeatability to maintain dimensional part accuracy using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators etc)
- Evaluates material cutting properties
- Program creation/updates/offsets
- Follows Quality Management systems, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:
- 3 years manufacturing experience required
- Previous CNC/Machine Operating experience
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform quality control inspections using micrometers
