Manufacturing Supervisor

Our client is seeking a qualified 1st Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to plan and coordinate manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.

Rate: $30.00-$35.00/HR
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm

Essential Job Duties:

• Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances.
• Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products, or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
• Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs.
• Review plans and confer with engineering or support staff to develop new processes.
• Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution, and marketing activities of industrial organization.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3-5 years Manufacturing Supervisor experience REQUIRED
• 4 years of Sheet Metal experience
• Working knowledge of MRP
• Math skills required, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a must
