Job Description

Our client located in Worcester, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join their quality assurance team. This is a full time, temp to hire position!

Starting Rate: $18.00

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Summary: Inspect product using test equipment, which is a manual process and includes a visual and mechanical inspection.

Inspector Job Duties:

  • Conduct visual and mechanical inspection ensuring adherence to specifications and conformance to company standards
  • Package inspected product
  • Maintain inspection logs
  • Marks defects, removes rejects, and reports conditions
  • Escalate any quality issues to the production supervisor as needed

Inspector Skills & Requirements:

  • 1yr+ experience working in a production role preferred
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must have longevity in employment history
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Dexterity to test and pack small components required
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of company quality specification
  • Ability to operate proper tooling and equipment to test and inspect materials
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
